Been wantign to make a danger close, AT-4, claymore class. My big question is, does danger close increase the damage an AT-4 will do to air support, or is the increase only to infantry?
Reason for asking is I'll be sacrificing stopping power, so the usual shoot-the-harrier-with-the-rocket-then-gun-it-down tactic probably won't work too well. Also, what primary would you use with this class? I was thinking SCAR or TAR for obvious reasons. Needs something that works well without stopping power. |

1st i dont think u understand the perk 100%
Danger close = your explosives do more damage Danger close pro = your air support do more damage (harrier, chopper g, ac-130 & predator) not your explosives do more damage to air support Stopping power = 1 less bullet for a kill Stopping power pro = your bullets do more damage to air support. 2nd Tar and ump both are guns that dont need and tbh waste the stopping power perk |

No no, I understand the perk fine, my question is basically, does the increase in explosive damage granted from danger close apply to the damage a rocket will do to air support? It is explosive damage right?
Basically, I know DC Pro makes explosive killstreaks do more damage. I'm curious if the non pro part of the perk increases explosive damage all around, including to air support, or if it is only against other players. |

I don't think it increases damage to air support.
The UMP would be a good secondary, doesn't need stopping power at all.
