Default Aim Assist
Any possible way I can take it off on consoles? I feel like an ass getting cheap shots with it on :P I wanna try playing without it and see how well I do.

Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot because they're only turning off the snap-aim feature in single player.

And it has permitted you to get something similar to 80% of all of your other kills...

Would it sound reasonable for me to damn mouse control because I accidentally reached the edge of my desk once when I wasn't paying attention and lost a kill for it?

80% not even close, this game isnt that reliant on aim assist, zero recoil assualt rifles that can 2 shot you with stopping power do the work for you.

Halo games on the other hand are extremely reliant

You have full control with a mouse. You do not have full control with a Sixaxis controller.

Probably a moment as rare as being killed by a wild Stinger missile.

Aim assist doesn't kick in much at all when you run super low sensitivity (1-2). the higher the sensitivity you run the more aim assist you'll get and feel.

the 80% figure is a bullshit statistic made up on the spot by someone who doesn't even play on a console.

I have no idea how much aim assist truly helps. It would be extremely difficult to quantify.

I have read on another thread that MOH doesn't have aim assist. Can anyone confirm this and let us know how it affects their play?

After some more research and testing there does seem to be a little aim assist in MoH. However I believe it has limited range and does not affect the snipers. (Sorry 360 No-Scope 1337's) :snickers:
