Heyy everyone.

I've been noticing the rise of the use of the Javelin. It seems like an okay weapon for games like demolition where people seem to crowd around the bomb site, one javelin and booom! Does anyone use this and find it useful? I thought it would be okay with danger close.

I've never used it seriously, however the Javelin generates many lulz at any given moment.

It's just one of "those" weapons. With Danger Close added, you might get lucky, but that's the fun part.

I found that the javelin is quite effective in Demo when there's only one bomb left, whether you're attacking or defending. Just keep javelining near the bomb site and you're sure to get some nice kills with it

Thanks guys. As long I'm in the question section...if you could choose would you use the Tar-21 or the Ak-47? The only time I use it is in my OMALOL class. ;D

Javelins are hilarious. Especially with the number of people using javelins indoors increasing. The number of times i've killed someone inside the big red barn on Quarry with an indoor javelin is amazing (and ppl always bitch about it for some reason :P). In response to your second question, i'd go with the TAR-21 just because i like the iron sights on it better.

I don't use it as a serious weapon (but then if you want a serious way of killing people, you just choose between a TAR, UMP and 50 cal/intervention) but it's good to use for a bit of a change.

Match it with a long range weapon like a FAMAS or LMG and have some fun on open maps (it's pretty obvious why i said that - something that needs a few seconds to lock on without being shot at wouldn't be ideal if you're close to the enemy)

It's really hilarious to use if you pair it with SoH pro for faster scoping in so you can lock on a bit faster, and then immediately self semtex and repeat in different spots. Just go like 30-90 but have endless javelins....

also if you're being silly, use it on rust if you can manage to get one off, you're sure to get at least one kill.

but otherwise abc's advice is the best

ah, forgot to mention scavenger is a must. You can get extra ammo from virtually all dead bodies (I think grenades or maybe it's noob tubes that count as ammo?)
