I would look at newegg and similar electronics wholesale sites. There are varying costs and varying qualities.

HDPVRs (or just a PVR) are originally for TVs.

They are literally a digital TV tuner (so you get, say, freeview/freesat/cable/whatever) but they have a HDD (hard disc drive) so can also record your TV. Some of these can be hooked up to record a console. PVRs (because they do normal TV etc) are usually quite expensive, maybe £100 - £300. These are available in all electronics stores that sell TVs etc

Capture Cards are devices which you plug into your console one end, and a computer or laptop the other. The capture card box "captures" your console's video signal then sends it to be saved on your computer/laptop's HDD. These are usually much cheap, between £15 and £50.
