Hi, i reached level 70 prestige 10 a week ago, but it doesn't give much benefit, is it possible to completely start over again with the game so that i start at level 1 prestige 0?

Well, i searched in the mw2 menu, and i can't find it anywhere how to make a new account, do you maybe mean a new steam account? But this means that i got to buy MW2 again?!

I was about to ask what platform you're on, but you just mentioned steam, so that solves that.

Anyway, go to MW2F > Technical Game Issues > STICKY: Problems & Solutions > Rank Hack
and you'll find one of the solutions tells you how to start again from level 1 without needing to make a new account or buy the game again.

Yeah I meant a whole new account... there's got to be a way you can do it on PC... ask one of our helpful PCnubs here, they'll tell ya. You can always, ahem, "get" MW2 again with a new account

Speaking of this, is there a hack that will allow you to additionally start your barracks over? Such as your kills, deaths, challenges, etc.

On PC, you can change ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING you want. On Xbox, it is probably possible, but quite hard to do without the correct knowledge.

That's a shame... I've recently contemplated about starting over to reset my barracks -- my KDR hovers at only about 1.00 right now on my current account, but I know if I started over it could be well over 3.00+ since I've had my current account from almost when I first started MW2.
