*(Couldn't find a thread on this)*
So I've been looking around, And hearing some "rumors", But I heard that if you apply the Holographic sight to a weapon, I Think you use steady aim, and hipfire at an enemy, You get a headshot majority of the time. Is this true? And if it is, does it work for all classes of guns (Well AR's, SMG's, and LMGs? Please let me know. Thanks.

You and a friend could always test it out on different weapons in a private match. I have not seen or heard anything on this forum about steady aim and a holo increasing your chances of headshots. I know the FAL benefits from the holo but that's about it.

I only used to Ump before I prestiged. I don't use it now, because I agree with everyone with some common sense, that it is noob and over powered. The only guns I use now are The Aug, 50.Cal and occasionally The Tar.

never heard of this but I've actually wondered at times if there were something to hipfiring and getting headshots.
by the way, I use the ump... great gun, no shame. Keep hating |

...I have tested this,
Getting 100 kills at the same range (roughly halfway across rust) and aiming at the chest with AR's, and LMG's No holo, no steady aim AR - 27% LMG - 24% Holo, no steady aim AR - 28% LMG - 23% Holo, Steady Aim AR - 35% LMG - 34% So clearly, the only thing that makes a difference is steady aim, which increases hipfire accuracy, so do the math. I used the TAR and L86 for testing BTW...

Hip-firing is almost always going to increase the likelihood of getting a headshot, due to the fact that people commonly aim for the largest surface area on an enemy, which is the chest.
