I need em. Primarily used AUG and RPD, trying to master L86 which only seems good for the CB pro glitch.

Does anybody really use this

Basically burst fire at range, hipfire at very short range, its damage & rof should do the trick

I use it with the Susat scope and a grip, its one of my favorite guns. You need to master the double tap. I.E., fir and hit, let gun level, immediately fire again. Never use sustained fire with it unless you are right in someone's face or are laying down cover fire for some reason.

Use it with SP, slieght of hand isn't necessary as the 100 round drum means you won't be reloading much, and when you do, you should be in a safe spot.

I'd actually recommend SoH. Although the L86 has a rather quick reload, SoH only helps it more. But really Pro helps with the faster aim down sights, which can be crucial since LMGs are slow to bring up the sights.

I concur. Soh, sp and whatever 3rd tier perk you want is the way to go with this gun. I recently mastered this gun, it was my latest one and it did go quite fast acctually. Use all the attachments to get the mastery title and then I'd suggest either grip or FMJ. FMJ is a great attachment for this gun but the grip is reasonably better as of the quite moderate recoil. The Susat scope sure does look nice but it adds recoil and was imo the worst attachment for this gun.

Whilst we're at it I might add that aiming for the upper body will give you alot of headshots as the second/third shot goes slightly over where you started to aim. I got 20-ish% headshots with this gun compared to overall kills. good luck

I remember in one match, a guy was using:

L86 +extended mags
Scavenger
Stopping Power
Steady Aim

He never aimed. All he did was crouch and fire. 2 bullets to kill someone at any range; he could spam a good distance away and win easily. And it was annoying. He never ran out of ammo, either.

Of course, not particularly good in open spaces, but seemed to tear Highrise apart with ease.

I love this gun, but I cannot stand it's iron sights. That, and the fact that it is uncontrollable at anything but close range without a grip, means that I use bling when I use it. And I hate using bling, so I usually go with the Aug or RPD. But it is a great gun.

Scavenger is a waste with this gun IMO, two 100 bullet mags are more than enough.

Sights are very clear and easy to use. So I always use Grip, with manageable recoil it's a much deadlier gun.

Sleight of Hand, the pro version of this perk will save your arse a lot in rangy during firefights.

Really? This is literally the ONLY gun in the game that I couldn't get used to the iron sights on. They aren't bad for me at close/med, but at long range I cant hit anything with them. Hmmm, maybe i'll give them another go.

I personally use it with a grip. Iron sights are great so no need for a sight, and grip helps a lot. Also use scavenger because as far as LMGs go it has a fast reload. Stopping power and then either ninja or steady aim. I burst fire it usually when I'm aiming ha ha, but I do also like to plant myself at the end of a hallway and just try and get multi-sprays.
