Everytime I press w, a, s, or d while playing the game it intermittently stops moving. I have to repeatedly press the keys to start moving again and again. This problem has gotten worse the more I played it. It's now at the point where I press a w, a, s, or d movement key and it stops a second later. This happens with my COD4 also. All I remember is that I was playing COD4 one day and I started having problems with wasd movement. The rest of the buttons work fine. I don't know what to do. How can I fix this?
I don't have this problem with any other games, so it's probably not the keyboard. It worked fine on COD4 for a year or so, and recently it worked fine on Modern Warfare 2 for the first 3 missions. Last edited by lahoud81; 09-08-2010 at 02:43 PM. Reason: forgot to ask question and add info |

Try binding your move buttons to something else and see if the problem recurs, try a reinstall of you game (remember to backup your "players" folder) and try another keyboard.
Hopefully one of those should work.

If you have a wireless keyboard, the batteries may be low or the keyboard and transmitting... thing might like a clear line of sight.
