Something you attach to your Ethernet cable to delay the flow of packets.

In Combat Arms I saw someone wipe out an entire roomful of players in the blink of an eye using one. They never saw him.

Not sure what effect it would have in COD though. I'm guessing the effect would be negatory unless it is the host doing it.

Pretty much, whoever has the switch has a huge advantage. They're able to kill you without lag while you're lagging. There was one guy who used it, and attempted to get a Nuke against my clan.

check out the thread in game reports about lag switching. Cloud put in a good video. It's actually very effective in COD, but dont get any ideas.
