If you ban for THIS, I'm sure I can insta list you 100 other people that you gotta give infractions asap.

The idea of warnings and infractions is that sometimes people get a bit too angry in a particular topic or don't realise how they are behaving is not appropriate. Therefore instead of instant bans people get several chances, seems kinda fair?



The majority of your posts are excellent, you are very knowledgable about the mechanics of the game, post some good arguments and always try to base your points on solid facts. That's brilliant.

However there is another side to you, the one who doesn't learn from mistakes and appears to have absolutely no idea how to address and treat other members. You have 8 infractions/warnings and the appropriate number of temp bans for insulting/attacking other members alone. Perhaps also consider how tasteful some of your "jokes" are before you just tell people to fuck off because they're a fucking stupid prick and get "jewtubed."



I read a very good post of yours a while ago about how forums have "unwritten rules," no one-image/word replies was your example, which shouldn't have to be mentioned. I would have thought you'd have known that using a constantly aggressive tone and swearing, fairly often at people for little reason, in virtually every sentence just isn't an acceptable way to talk to other members.

Im very well aware that some of the infractions are very much justified.

Yet I honestly believe that the last 3 ive got were completly blown out of the water, this last one being the cherry on the cake.

Banning somebody for calling his argument stupid? Not only this isnt even hostile, yet it's a perfectly justifyable thing in a debate under certain circumstances, which I easily meet & already explained to TheHunter360. Im sure he'll gladly copy paste my messages I send him to you, if not ill gladly write an essay on fallacies for you once im at a computer.

Im pretty sure i hardly ever simply tell people to fuck off. The last time I did so was when a rankhacker was boasting about his cheating. Ironically enough, instead of banning the guy who openly admits he's a cheater, I got an infraction. Im sorry, but I honestly dont feel like acting civil against people who admit they cheat & then actually go show offwith it.

Thirdly, the joke I was referring to was me being sarcastic over the fact that iMacgirl was spamming her name in every post, which happened to be the same as a girl Ive been trying to forget about for a while. Just seeing it pop up on a gaming board i read daily was like God was slapping me in the face. I made a joke about it, said it wasnt directed personally at her, yet I still got a ban.

Fourth, I honestly dont know what the problem is when I said jewtubed? Its an insider from pub* vent from that game we played that ViS recorded.

Fifth Ive said plenty before that the majority of moderators is utter crap & has no clue about what they are supposed to do. They randomly handout infractions, whenever they feel like doing so.
A moderator shouldnt act subjectivly & say crap like "i feel like necroposting is a good thing". He should execute the forumrules n merely see whether a certain case falks under a certain rule. This obviously also implies that he shouldnt create his own rules, nor should he disregard others.
A forum is basicly a small scale community. These are exactly the reasons why there is a seperation of powers in real life. So that situations like these, where one oversteps the boundries of his position dont occur & are sanctioned.

Anyhow, like I said, ill make a proper reply when im home, since typing on an iphone is a pain.

Abc, I'm pretty sure that this would be a good time to take some action about the issue that we momentarily discussed. What you're about to deprive the community of isn't worth the satisfaction that your new, over-zealous mod crew will get from momentarily asserting their dominance for the mere novelty of it.
