Put a restriction on the MW2 Media section.
I'm sick of seeing countless terrible videos being dropped by 1-time posters.

Min 50 posts on these boards before you can post in the media section won't hurt anyone & will keep these leechers away.

For once I agree with char. The media section is just being spammed by one time posters. At least if there was a minimum post count on it we could count on the video being half descent. You should also ban anyone who attempts to get up there post count by spamming other threads with 'lol' etc.

At the very least put a poll or something up about this, with a non-hidden vote obviously (so we can see that there aren't 100 1-vid-posters voting against).

I'm pretty sure the overall consensus will be overwhelmingly in favor of such a rule.

If I had to vote, I guess Id agree but to be honest, Im pretty sure the overall consensus really doesn't care and your repetitive crys for fixing it are far more annoying.

When it comes down to it, I agree with you but the whole thing is a storm in a tea cup.

The fact that you are so passionate about this forum being your model of perfect is scary. How many posts do you have to make about this crap? Why is it so important?

The other thread was locked because it had turned into a personal attack upon one member. There is nothing wrong with people posting a suggestion, in good nature, once or twice.

What is it (out of the following) that people are against? People who:

• Post a vid and never come back
• post shit vids repeatedly
• post shit vids and never come back
• post vids & have an inflated ego

I think a required-post-count-to-post in the media section is a very good idea. People's response to the above question will be very interesting.

I agree with chaR that a minimum post count in the media section is a great idea. As far as your list goes of what people are against, for me it's all of those things. I really get annoyed with the guys that post one time video's, first time in the wrong section, but they don't intro themselves either.

Personally, I don't mind any of the above if they're in low quantities. It's only bad when these things make up the majority of posts IMO.

I think setting a post-count-to-post (as it was elegantly put ;P ) would work and probably should be switched on, but I don't believe the problem is anywhere near the catastrophe that it has been made out to be.

I think it should be 75. 100 is quite hard to get if you only get 1/2 posts an day, Unlike myself (doing somting like 10 a day) its quite hard to get. So i think 75, Will be enough. If still to large 50 sounds fair enough.

having a post count restriction on posting vids is a good idea, it stops your one post visitors who contribute nothing to your forum from posting trash. It also helps keep your bandwidth usage under some form of control.
A forum should be there for open discussion and having restrictions goes a little against the idea behind them but a forum can only work on members who contribute to the boards, one post spammers dont. Just my two pence worth......
