why was that thread closed?

1) The thread had stagnated, nothing useful was coming out of it.
2) The thread has since been learned to be inaccurate, as OMA has not been changed with the update.

If you feel you can discuss it in a proper manner (i.e not like in the spoiler) with coherant, logical, grammatically correct arguments then I advise you to start a thread in the debate section.

yeah, from what i saw, the last page was just an argument that contributed nothing to the original topic... it's a good idea to close it before people get too worked up about it. and then create like 3 threads asking why it was closed...

To put this back on topic:

I think is a good idea that they did not nerf OMA. Apart from getting me bucket loads of kills, only being able to switch classes once, or not refilling equipment, would have really reduced it's effectiveness. TBH, I rarely know anyone that actually uses OMA for more than being able to place multiple claymores, or for OMALOL tubing.

that guy needed to get banned... getting so worked up about stuff like that. Seriously why are people having problems with the mods, if a thread needs to be closed they'll close it. Most of the time they explain why and if they don't then usually it's self explanatory.

He made multiple threads about this issue that were only created for the purpose of harassing Voodoo. Its a minor issue, we only temp banned him to stop him from spamming threads his account will be reinstated tomorrow.

As to what he did, he created in total 5 threads in GD, all of which were closed and then subseqently deleted along with this one. So 6 threads in total. If you wish you can read the argument in this thread:
