Many forums that I've frequented in the past have utilized a "talkback" feature. It was basically a little button on the same bar as User CP, Competitions, Forum Rules, FAQ, etc. When you clicked it, it brought up a list of anyone who quoted one of your posts and gave a link to their post.

It's a really great feature because often times I'll post in a thread and forget about it, only to have someone respond to my post and it seems like I'm blowing them off. I'd love to keep track of who's talking to me so I can keep conversations going instead of forgetting which threads I posted in etc.

Just a thought I had, not sure if it's possible to implement on MW2F

Arena Junkies - World of Warcraft PvP Strategy and Discussion is the one I was talking about in particular. Is that VB or something more advanced?

Also, as Ninja said, there's no downside to it at all. It just stimulates discussion and makes the site easier to use.

I'd like it. I love having on AP.net, makes it so much easier to keep up to date with posts.

Also on that site, threads that you post in you are automatically subscribed to, making it easier to keep up with whats going on. I don't know if that feature is available on this site, haven't paid much attention tbh.

Well, it was a good suggestion. Definitely something little that could have brighten up the forums.

If you have any other mod suggestions, feel free to let us know. Didn't you say it was on many forums you went to? See OP. Maybe you guys could PM other admins for the code?

I use a poker site or 6 or 7 and yes we have posts on forums, and you get notified of responses etc.. with instant link backs to the thread n shit.

Will see if i can get a response. Should be ok or i can threaten them with not depositing any cash on their site unless im missing the point entirely.........

Do you mean email notifications? You can do that here already I think by subscribing to threads... default can be changed in your user options (for auto subscribing)... I haven't used it but I guess it works.
