Probably because now you can spot the platform tags from miles, some people wouldn't notice that some threads were intended for one specified platform.

But most importantly, we got the best colour.

Thanks. So yeah, it makes it a bit easier to spot what you're after in the Barracks sections in particular, as well as adding a splash of colour. Originally I intended to confine the colour-coded tags to the Barracks sections, but I am considering leaving it as is (i.e. forum wide coloured tags)

Ha, yeah ideally the XBOX green would be a bit more vivid and garish (like the real thing) but I copy/pasted the hex code used in all the logos on iEntry's xbox forum. Likewise I copied the "PS blue" hex code from an image on the PSN website. I didn't really think PC had a defining colour, so I just used a sort of dark red inspired by my fans.

How was it inspired by my fans or why did I use red? Stereotypical images of super awesome expensive cool gaming PCs often have loads of red/blue lights and lots of other uneccessary stuff, see alienware for examples.

My keyboard is orange backlit with blue at the top, computer has blue and my mouse is teh green - I confirm that lights dramatically increase performance.

I miss my old case... it was full of blue and red lights all the time, as it hummed quietly.

Oh you guys, my PC has no fancy lights, I have to contempt myself with that annoying CPU light that keeps flashing for no reason.

Which I would rather prefer not to see come on at all, as it only flashes at the worst times to make my PC slow and make me die a little inside. FML

It took me 60 seconds to implement it, if that. The thought of trying to use colours was almost spontanious whilst noticing the careful difference in wording between the tag name & whatever the word is they used to denote the content.

It took months to arrive at that situation. It's not as if colours are a massive benefit or something that's been begged for since day 3, just another lil detail
