Default Noob Guide
Just a quick suggestion, have someone write a guide for noobs (if there isn't already one) giving them a basic idea of what to do (guns, perks, how to get better).

Sticky it on General Discussion.

Link every thread created by a new member which is asking for help about a class/gun to it.

Results in less threads containing 2 pages of the same stuff.

I think if Vis is going to write it, you may want to get a few people to edit out all the curse words and phrases used to mock the reader before releasing it xD

It is a good idea though if only to hopefully consolidate a lot of the threads that pop up made by newcomers.

I think a far more interesting method would be to make everyone on the forum with more than say 50 posts a custom sig much like the one you have, but instead of having someone pick what they want it to say... either the admins or the community votes on what to put there.

Thus, the community publicly labels each active member so as to help with what often becomes an "interesting" introduction to this forum's way of life

Obviously this would be far to much work to actually implement, but I do find the idea fun
