Default Search before posting...,,,

Okay, so when was the last time you read an entire thread without some very helpful soul saying either:"Why are their so many threads like this?", or "There are loads of threads on this already", and of course "If you had searched first you would see the answer to this, but my answer is this anyway" etc etc

To all of these people, from me: please please stop being SO helpful!

If we (newer forum members) are only allowed to post questions that have NEVER been discussed then chances are the forum would die a death,
or get very boring very quickly.

I even got longed for not searching after explicitly saying I did and not finding my answer, I mean come on! Chill a little peeps.

Love you all
Spender
(and NO, this time I didnt search before ranting, and it feels both naughty an illicit!)

Rant over!

There are so many threads on this

Well, it's sort of annoying when a new forum member decides to make a thread on something that's been posted like a day ago. Yeah, if somethings a real old topic we might let it slide but honestly there are like 290483209 threads on quickscoping and stuff we all hate and noobs and all that, that's why people say search

Loving your style pantstofry!

Good point, but I reckon so many things have been answered by now it leaves little else left to ask!

Maybe we just like being involved and not getting everything from searches! I know I do.

I also reckon I could name the five worst offenders in the "Search please" clan, off by heart (you weren't one of them oddly enough-go figure!)

Spender definitely has a point, if we "ban" all posts that have been posted before then we may as well close the forum to new posts.

However the other members who see a lot of repeated content are reffering to the sort of topics people make like "what is your fav class" or "what is the best perk to use with intervention" where there is already a stickied "what is your favourite class thread" (which, ironically, appears only 4cm above their new topic when you view the sub forum) and a hundred other repeated threads. With that sort of thing it works best for EVERYONE if the posts are all in one place.

This is getting repetitive.
