It sounds weird, but i just got XP on my macbook using boot camp, and i can't figure out how to connect to the internet. I'm in the internet settings but i can't find a list of networks i can connect to (used to macs and such)
I use the apple Airport extreme with a modem if that helps how do i connect/

Do you need to have all the windows drivers for everything if your emulating windows? I'd guess not since your running on Leopard (or w/e) and emulating windows in a window, but windows XP is pretty useless for automatically joining networks as there are no built in generic drivers, you had to get drivers for your network card before you could connect (unlike vista & 7, for example)
That was a really useless post... ^^^

This is getting repetitive. |

Provided you've followed the Boot Camp process correctly, you should have a CD which the Boot Camp software burnt which you would have used to load all the drivers after XP installed. Could be many things from not advertising your wifi routers SSID to wifi not being turned on at all, etc.. hard to say.
BTW it is not emulated - it's running natively via a dual boot like it would do on any x86 machine. Provided you installed the drivers, look up a Windows XP wifi guide and start from there. |
