Unhappy Puchshased 2 Copies!
I Purchased a copy last week and since then installed it on my monster machine, MP and SP rocks. However, I would like to play MP CO-OP with my Son. Being the cheapo that I am, I simply borrowed another copy from my fater. I intended to install it on my gaming laptop but it will not let me as it states that key is already activated. Arggggg! can anyone make a suggestion for me before my holidays are up? Thanks.

Stop being the cheapo that you are and buy a new copy for him. Or make him buy one

Alternatively, you could disable the code on your dads PC and then use it on yours

Now, i googled this and it seems that there is no easy (and by easy I mean legal) way to use his CD key at the same time as him, so Im going to say my first proposal is the best. Hope I helped

I would advise against buying on ebay because, considering you don't need a disc for MP or SP, absolutely ANYONE could sell their copy on ebay - make $20 - and still play the game everyday for the rest of life. Meanwhile Mr Unfortunate who bought it on ebay can't play at all because the keycode is being used.

Just download Steam, log in with your father's account details and download the game via Steam on the laptop.

Oh dear, how could I forget Steam!!!??? The wonder that it is. Although dont you have to be logged onto his account to play it? Surely you can't download it then log back onto your own account and start playing?
