Do you know how to fix them? Me personally haven't had this problem yet, hell I better not because I just purchased the slim edition. But I think I know a couple of people that do have it.

How much of a process is it to fix it? Like how long does it take?

well, you have to strip your playstation down to the motherboard, and heat up about 8 areas of the board on both sides. so its a lot of heating up and cooling down time, then just disassembly and assembling it back together

yeah it is a warrent voiding process for sure, and if your warrenty is still good i wouldnt recommend it. but like in my case, im broke and my ps3 went bad.....again, its cheaper to fix it then send it to sony for 150 or buying a new one
