Default Uploading to youtube.

As most of you know, i upload alot to my youtube.
I now record with wegame (never tried anything other) and at max everything.
When i watch after i record with normal media player, it is great quality. After i render it with vegas and watch with media player, it has great quality.
I upload to youtube, it only plays in 480(?) and you can't see details, bad quality.

What do i need to do to get 720? something with tags, or rendering options?

Your project settings should look like this if you want to export as 720p instead of 480p (it's my own preset name, you won't find it in the list):

The frame rate could be different (depending on what you set Wegame to record), but it shouldn't exceed 30fps (AFAIK the max that YouTube accepts/uses).

You have two options:
  1. Use the built-in "Sony AVC" video codec (Video bitrate: 6 - 8 MBit, Audio bitrate: 224 KBit)
  2. Export it as an uncompressed *.avi and use an external program to compress it (I use Handbrake to do so, it's a bit more work but it looks better/results in a smaller file)

I made a video today, and rendered as the settings you have. It was 10 minutes long and became a 50g file -.-
When i tried to watch it, it was like watching a dvd that had scratches in it.
What did i do wrong?
I pressed preview project, it became a 2g file, played perfectly but it was 720x480.

You forgot to compress it using an external program like Handbrake. The huge file that you ended up with is the uncompressed output of Sony Vegas and is usually unplayable as it isn't meant to be played back in this raw form.
If you choose to use Handbrake, you can use the preset called "High Profile" and you will get a file that is about 300 - 400MB in size and looks just as good as the huge, uncompressed one.

If you think that this is too time consuming, you can still try out the Sony AVC codec built into Vegas by default.
