Hi, when I record a video using Fraps and import it into After Effects, it seems to render really slowly, i heard somewhere that changing the codec will fix this, if that is the case, how do I do it?
Thanks

slow rendering can occur because:
A) your PC is slow B) you are rendering it at a higher quality than you have the patience for (i.e. rendering it in .VOB at 720p takes more time than MP4 at SD) by "codec" your friend/internet most likely means simply pick a different option. e.g. encode in H264 or VOB instead of MP4 for higher quality. i.e. try MP4 instead of H264.

This is getting repetitive. |
