I just bought Borderlands last weekend and when i wanted to install it my PS3 told me i dont have enough space for the installation.

Luckily, i could remove the game data from Navy Seals Socom because i never played it - COD FTW so i had enough space to install Borderlands. But what about the next games?????

Now my questions:

1) If i delete game data of games i didnt playfora long time but i have trophies, do the trophies still stay after i deleted the game data?

2) If i buy a PS3 slim, do i have to create a new account on my new ps3 or are all the information stored online especially trophies and PSN informations as friends?

3) In case the answer to 2) is that i have to create a new account, how difficult is it to just transfer / copy the data from my old ps3 to the new slim?

In the end i am a trophy bleep and just dont want to loose any of my beloved, shiny metal pots.

Your trophies are stored on your PS3 I believe, so if you get a new PS3 you'll still be able to sign online with the same name but no trophies or information from saves will be on the new PS3.

goto trophies > sync

and voila. sign in to your old account on your new ps3 and all your trophies will be there

also most games coming out now have copy protection on their game saves, so if you copy it from old to new ps3 you wont be able to get trophies or continue in the game. so you might as well restart.

do any of you use an external HD? and if so was it easy to connect with ps3? and once you have a external does that automatically become your primary harddrive? or can i use both at once?

Trophies are not stored on your ps3..!! I have two machines all I had to do was create new user with the same username then sync like stryker said..!!

I use an external HD and yes you just plug it in and it will automatically recognise it, I does not become your primary but you can use both at once..!!
