Default Will she live through a freeze?

we had a terrible snow storm today, and I was in the middle of transporting my PC and gear to my old place for a week of BlackOps and vent, when I became stuck in the snow. So now my computer and mouse are sitting in my car, and it's about 30°F outside. Will excessive cold damage my computer? I may not be able to rescue her until tomorrow or the day after.

/yes I went the long way to ask a question but face it, you miss me.

Bummer.
I'm experiencing the same storm. It sucks.

Depends on humidity, not temperature. You SHOULD avoid stressing it without a chance to warm up if you've just brought it in from low temps, though.

What ViS said.

Moisture damages computers, not temperature.

Frankly, I won't be suprised if it DOES work. It depends 2what sort of safety factor (if at all considered) components were designed with. E.g. can the lubricant in the fan's motor remain a liquid at -30F, is the plastic used for the case one that has passed it's "transition point" (meaning that, if as thin as plastic usually is on a case, it will shatter/crack almost instantly upon picking the case up)

This is getting repetitive.

well it's spending another night outside, it was far too cold for me to walk the mile to the car to even see if I could drive it home. Only shit thing is the current humidity outside is 77%. Once I do get it back inside I'll let her sit for a day before power up.

EDIT: She lives.
