Default CoD4 Punkbuster Disallowed Program/Driver [80252]
Has anyone experienced this on Call of Duty 4? I can't play for more than about a minute before I get kicked from the server with the message "Punkbuster kicked player [NAME] for 0 minutes... RESTRICTION Disallowed Program/Driver [80252]".

Last week, I submitted a ticket with PB support, who have told me to search for a list of certain files, and also to do a full virus/malware scan.

Done both of those and found nothing. Still waiting on another reply.

Any suggestions?

I had the same exact problem and I fixed it with pbsetup.

But you probably already tried that :/

Actually, no I didn't. I re-installed cod4 of course, but didn't manually update afterwards (I presume that's what the link is, I'm on my iPod ATM).

Yeah, pbsetup will normally fix every PB issue.

Waiting for a reply from a support ticket at the moment. They now want me to send a list of all my running processes, which i have done.

Are you running the game off Steam? If you are, disable the Steam in-game overlay for the game. I have had this issue before.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no I am not running off Steam.

I am still waiting on a reply from my PB support ticket. :|

Trying to play a PCW when your getting kicked every few minutes is annoying as hell.
